I love that I am able to be stress free from exams and be able to be with my family and friends. I also love the good food too.

ReplyDeleteWhat I love best about this upcoming holiday season is that we are first and foremost celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. I also love the build up to it,all the beautifully decorated shops,running around in the cold trying to find the perfect gift for my loved ones,the way my house looks with the tree,seeing all the family, taking some time off work and opening up presents on Christmas eve and Christmas day.
The smell of cinnamon and pine floating through the air.I love that we play Christmas music nonstop from November to January 2012. The fireplace when it makes the crackling noise is so warm and inviting. I love going to the grocery stores, shopping for the Christmas and New Years dinner. I cook the holiday dinner every year and I cant wait until Christmas to do so. I love everything about this up coming holiday season from the giving gifts to the people that are deserving and appreciative of my gift giving and receiving of gifts (not expected but are warm welcomed), to seeing my mother and father, 5 sisters and GOD Daughter, cousins,grandmother and Aunties happy but I think my favorite part is the way my home feels with the fireplace burning, scented candles, Christmas tree, Christmas music, decorations everywhere, egg nogg and cakes and pies baking in the oven. Its the overall love and home feel that gets me in the Christmas Spirit. And I cant forget all the wonderful Christmas movies that we will be watching from now until Christmas.

I love seeing lights on people's tree, decorating my house, Christmas hymns and spending time with my family.
ReplyDeleteWhat I have been enjoying and am looking forward to most this season is seeing the holidays through the eyes of my 3 and 2 year old sons. They find excitement and joy in just about everything -- from seeing Christmas decorations and lights driving at night ("I see Christmas lights!! I see Rudolph!") to watching Christmas movies and specials on TV ("The Grinch that Stole Christmas" is their favorite), to singing Christmas carols at the drop of a hat (usually repeating verses they can remember over and over again), to helping me make gingerbread, to decorating our tree, to running downstairs first thing in the morning to find where their Elf on the Shelf (Billy) has gotten to now, to writing their Christmas lists, to meeting Santa (and even both agreeing to sit on his lap!), to seeing how they bring happiness to our family, even after having lost both my grandmother and my grandfather in the past 4 months. Their health and happiness is the best Christmas gift a mom could ever get. :)
